Fairy Tales and Fables
A Collection
Fairy Tales and Fables: A Collection, is a story of Aesop inspired fables and fairy tales, meant to inspire the next generation of people not to try and conform to the social norm, but to be themselves!
The First Tale is The Tiger and the Mouse, by Lucas Hucher, which teaches that it is okay to be different. The story follows a tiger who was born with spots, instead of stripes, and her struggle to find a friend.
The Second Tale is The Peacock and the Blue Jay, originally by Aesop, recreated by Lucas Hucher. The Peacock and the Blue Jay, is about a blue jay who was bullied for her looks by other blue jays, and how she learns that true beauty is on the inside.
The Third Tale is The Swan and the Raven, by Aesop, retold by Lucas Hucher. The Swan and the Raven is about a raven who longs to have white feathers like a swan, but no matter how hard the raven tries, it cannot change its true nature. This fable teaches that you can't (naturally) change your appearance , and that appearance doesn't really matter. What matters is what is on the inside, not what is on the outside. This tale in not available individually.
